Something brewtiful has landed in Waikoloa—and I couldn’t be more excited to spill the beans! HiCO (Hawaiian Island Coffee Outpost), has officially opened their third location and it is in Waikoloa Village
Located in the heart of Waikoloa, the new HiCO spot is more than just a coffee shop—it’s a warm, welcoming hangout where locals and visitors alike can sip, snack, and stay a while. Whether you’re post-beach, pre-hike, or just in need of a midday pick-me-up, HiCO is now your go-to oasis for thoughtfully brewed coffee and good vibes only.
☕ Coffee with Heart
If you know HiCO, you know they don’t mess around when it comes to coffee. Locally sourced, lovingly roasted, and expertly crafted—every cup tells a story of community, sustainability, and aloha. Expect all your favorites: creamy cold brews, silky lattes (don’t miss the ube or lilikoi specials!), and of course, their pour-overs made with Big Island beans.
🍍 Cozy Meets Cool
The Waikoloa location is laid-back surf shack meets chic island lounge with breezy seating areas, and just enough art and aloha to make you feel instantly at home. Whether you’re working remotely, catching up with friends, or just enjoying a quiet morning, this space was made for cozy moments.
🥣 Açaí, Please!
And if coffee isn’t the only thing on your mind, you’re in for a treat—HiCO’s açaí bowls are next level. Packed with fresh island fruit, crunchy granola, and just the right amount of tropical flair, they’re the perfect fuel for sunny days. Pro tip: try the U-Bay-Bay, my personal favorite—a perfect blend of ube and açaí magic that might just become your new obsession too.
🥥 More Than Coffee
HiCO’s new spot also offers a rotating selection of local pastries, amazing sandwiches, and grab-and-go goodies. Fuel up before a beach day or settle in for a sweet little escape from the sun including the occasional live music and creative community events coming soon. Make sure to try the Lily Special, sweetened Matcha with Ube cold foam on top…. or my husbands favorite as he is not a coffee drinker, their local Jun which is a type of Kombucha sweetened with honey instead of sugar.
HiCO Products and Apparel
Did I mention you can also buy their special Ube sauce and Matcha powder along with local coffee to take home? They also have a great selection of HiCO swag to choose from.
🌈 More Than a Coffee Shop
At HiCO, they believe in living boldly, embracing every wave life brings, and doing it all with a smile. That’s why they created a space where everyone is welcome—a place to connect, create, and celebrate the diversity of our island community. From local art on the walls to community events in the works , Waikoloa outpost is more than just a café—it’s a cultural hub.
By supporting local farmers and honoring Hawai‘i’s agricultural heritage, every sip you take makes a difference. And together, through coffee, conversation, and community, we rise—rooted in aloha.
🌈 Stop in when you’re in the neighborhood.
Whether you’re a longtime fan or a curious newcomer, they invite you to come by, sip slow, and stay awhile. Waikoloa, meet your new favorite coffee spot. HiCO is here—and it’s brewed with aloha. HiCO is also Dotty and Dilly approved.
