Since Island Bikram Yoga and Yoga Barre closed, I’ve really missed having a true yoga studio nearby—so I’m genuinely excited to share that Yoga Nest has opened a new location in the Shops at Mauna Lani , expanding from their well-established Kailua-Kona studio.

The first official class felt like a long overdue family reunion.
For me, this is one of those businesses that instantly adds to the quality of life in a community. Yoga Nest offers a thoughtful mix of heated and non-heated classes, making it easy to find the right practice for how your body feels that day. And yes—they even incorporate singing bowls, which bring such a calming, grounding element to the experience.

What really sold me is the schedule. They offer early morning classes starting at 6:30 am, which is perfect before work, showings, or a busy day, and late evening 7:00 pm candlelight Yin classes for slowing things down and truly unwinding. This is exactly the kind of wellness-focused business that enhances a resort area and surrounding neighborhoods—something residents, resort employees, and visitors can all enjoy. Spaces like this are a big part of what makes a community feel complete—not just a place to live, but a place to truly live well.

It’s these everyday lifestyle amenities—places that support health, balance, and connection—that quietly add real value to where we choose to live. And for me, Yoga Nest is a wonderful example of why the Mauna Lani area continues to be such a special place. 🧘♀️✨
